ABSTRACT We investigate cosmological parameter inference from realistic simulated weak lensing image data using only galaxy position angles, as opposed to full-ellipticity information. demonstrate that input shear fields can be accurately reconstructed the statistics of source angles and that, these fields, we successfully recover power spectra infer cosmology. This paper builds on previous work angle-only estimation by extending method deal with variable anisotropic point spread function (PSF) convolution fields. Previous employed a weighting scheme downweight contribution estimates sources aligned PSF. removes need convolving them an PSF rotated 90○. show this undoes rotation caused convolution, assuming have reliable images find signal data, based loosely current Stage III missions, within overall scale factor, factor determined cosmology independent simulation noise, galaxy, properties match those set. then constrain parameters constraining comparable basic application IM3SHAPE, which provides full-shape measurement
